Ecclesiastes 11:9-10 ~ NIV
You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgement.
So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body, for youth and vigor are meaningless.
1 Timothy 4:12-16 ~ NIV
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.
Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you.
Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.
Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
Ecclesiastes 3:12-14 ~ NLV
I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and to do good as long as they live
And I know that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all His works. It is the Gift of God.
I know everything God does will last forever. There is nothing to add to it, and nothing to take from it. God works so that men will honor Him with fear.
